“Sonja is really focused on empowering local people to address community challenges on their own terms. I’ve been part of her NGO Accelerator Programme, a 6-month bootcamp for grassroots NGOs in Dominica covering everything from theories of change to communications plans. She managed to make monitoring and evaluation frameworks accessible to all participants, whether they had a high school diploma or a PhD. She provides bespoke one-to-one support, helping NGOs think through challenges and design solutions for their actual, real-life contexts.
